The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy - Innovation for the Future
Innovation is at the heart of the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy as we continue to look for innovative practice research through our Innovation Fund. Thanks to the continued support of our many supporters, the Foundation is offering a $50,000 grant again this year. Our review committee is currently reviewing eleven new applications and is expected to announce the winner in early November.

The Foundation's emphasis on leadership was also evident this year, with the creation of the Wellspring Pharmacy Leadership Award – inspired by friends and colleagues of Barb Wells (who passed away last year), this award will start in 2012 to recognize and support individual leadership within the profession of pharmacy. The reception in Ottawa in June, along with personal donations, has provided us with just under $50,000 to endow this award for the next five years.
Earlier this year, the CFP/TEVA report, which explored The Perceptions of Pharmacy by Third Party Payers, was presented at the CPhA and PANS Conferences.
